SEED Graduation cum Workplace Experience Program Celebration 2026

Hong Kong's education system is entering a defining chapter. Digital literacy is no longer a privilege but a foundational expectation for every student, and the conversation has moved beyond readiness into real-world relevance. That is the space SEED has always occupied, turning policy ambition into each new generation's potential.

This year, we celebrated 170+ graduates from our Cloud Computing and UX/UI Design programs — each having completed 72–90 hours of hands-on learning— alongside around 60 students who completed our full-time, month-long Workplace Experience Program embedded within industry. What these graduates carry with them is not just technical knowledge. It is the experience of not knowing, pushing through anyway, and discovering on the other side that they are more capable than they had believed.

One graduate summed it up:
“I came in thinking cloud computing was just servers following instructions. I left having built my own website on my own cloud server, and realizing for the first time how many ways there are to tell your own story. WXP taught me what no classroom ever could. There are no model answers in the real world. I learned to speak up when I was lost rather than stay silent, to trust my teammates and let go and to own every decision I made. I did not just learn skills. I learned who I needed to become.”

She is not the exception. Most of our graduates arrived with little to no technical background, and every one of them leaves having genuinely done the work. That distinction is at the heart of everything SEED stands for, because policy can set the direction and curriculum frameworks can define the goals, but confidence, adaptability, and the courage to contribute in a professional setting can only be built through real experience, in partnership with the schools, instructors, and industry partners who make it possible.

The graduating class of 2026 is stepping into a world that is finally ready to meet them. We are proud of how far they have come, and deeply grateful to our founding sponsor, honorary advisors, and every partner who believed in this mission before it was policy.
